Paul Flatt - Managing DirectorPaul joined Wheeler Campbell in January 2009. He has 18 years experience in sales and marketing roles across a wide range of industries in New Zealand, Australia and Europe. More recently he has held senior roles in manufacturing & distribution, publishing, HR assessment, HR consulting and recruitment. He holds a bachelors degree in Psychology from Waikato University and an MBA from Henley Management College (UK). Most of his spare time is spent with his young family. He enjoys most sports and socialising with family and friends.

Her most recent role was with a leading executive headhunting company where she developed strong networks across various industries. She has been involved in search assignments for many public and private sector executive positions, successfully finding people with suitable qualifications and, perhaps more importantly, the right cultural fit. Sally’s engaging manner and flexible attitude assist her to quickly establish connections with both clients and candidates alike.

Sandra Braithwaite - Consultant - Human ResourcesSandra has joined Wheeler Campbell to build on the legacy in the HR and OD specialisation in Wellington, a responsibility which she takes seriously. Sandra’s values are aligned to those historic to the HR and OD practice as Wheeler Campbell and her skill-set includes natural project management skills and a diverse background and experience working on projects from movies to mergers, mainly in the ICT industry. As a born and bred Wellingtonian with the travelling gene Sandra has been a contractor, a client and a candidate, who has built a career on long term relationships and delivering. Of particular relevance to her current role is her experience with large recruitment projects: including the Gen-i/TAS merger working on the HR and PR workstreams and multiple business change programmes. Sandra’s easy going but honest manner has enabled her to recruit and build teams that last the distance and deliver. Diane Miller - Consultant - ContractingDiane joined Wheeler Campbell early in 2011 to work in our contracting area. She has found her niche in Project/Programme Management, Change Management and various roles associated with a Programme Office. Now into her fifth year in the recruitment industry, Diane has built up a strong network in the Wellington market in both the government, public and private sectors and prides herself on really understanding her clients business and matching this with the right people to support them. Prior to recruitment, Diane worked in Business Development for over 10 years – this experience has taught Diane to achieve outcomes through good communication and good management of the entire recruitment process from both a candidate and client perspective. Diane is a natural at managing relationships and building business to ensure she is providing the best opportunities for candidates and the best candidates to her clients. As of February 2012, Diane will be away on maternity leave for 6 months. Sandy Sergeant - Principal Consultant - Human ResourcesSandy is a highly experienced and versatile recruitment professional having worked in multiple specialisations across both the public and private sectors for over 20 years. After beginning her career in the Office Support and Labour Force sectors, Sandy has since that time delivered roles from intern to CEO and has been a highly successful Account Manager as well as Project Manager for multiple vacancy campaigns. Of particular relevance to her current role, Sandy brings over 13 years senior management experience in addition to having successfully recruited HR and Public Sector-Core Government roles in the executive space. Margot Anderson - Principal ConsultantMargot Anderson is Wheeler Campbell’s public sector lead for permanent public policy and public management executive roles. Margot’s recruitment background is in senior executive search in the UK. She worked for Veredus Executive Resourcing, formerly a part of PricewaterhouseCoopers, one of the leading public sector executive search firms in the United Kingdom. As a search consultant she worked on a wide range of tier one and tier two assignments on behalf of public sector clients - from the appointment of the first UK Children’s Commissioner to the Chief Executive and the Senior Management Team, for a NHS commercial start up specialising in business process outsourcing. Margot has recently returned to New Zealand after heading up the research department for an international publishing and consulting company based in Istanbul. The company focused on emerging markets in the Middle East, the Levant, the Maghreb, west Africa, eastern Europe and south east Asia. Prior to working internationally, Margot held a range of senior policy advisor and management roles in the New Zealand public sector. Margot graduated from the University of Otago with a BA Hons (First) in Politics. She was also a New Zealand Registered Comprehensive Nurse following completing a Diploma of Nursing at Otago Polytechnic.

Jaarna Hoskins - Recruitment AssociateJaarna is new to Wellington, having moved down from the Bay of Plenty where she worked at the Waiariki Institute of Technology. Apart from losing several shades of her tan, she is loving life in the Best Little Capital City in the World. Jaarna holds a Diploma in Creative Writing and is currently completing a Diploma in Communications (Applied).

Catherine Leone - AccountantCatherine grew up in Palmerston North, graduated from Massey University in Accountancy and began her career with one of the big six (as it was then) accounting firms in Wellington. She has since worked as an accountant in a variety of businesses, from tax consultancy firms to branding specialists, both in New Zealand and overseas, gaining her CA qualification in the process. This is Catherine’s first foray into recruitment and if you are a contractor, it is likely you will come across her desk at some point. In her spare time Catherine juggles raising her four children and spending time with friends.
